IT Administrator

Enthought, Inc. is looking for an IT Administrator for its Austin, TX offices. Requirements for the position include:

• 5+ years experience in IT administration with a focus on high-availability infrastructure.
• 2+ years experience supporting the IT needs of a software development organization
• Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field
• Mastery of Linux server administration
• Experience with Windows 2000/XP/Vista
• Experience managing a distributed computing environment
• A "can do" attitude!

In addition, the ideal candidate would have:

• Python, or other scripting language, experience
• Capability to maintain/update/improve product build and testing infrastructure

Responsibilities will include:

• Management of corporate IT infrastructure (web, mail, etc.)
• Management of data backups and high-availability infrastructure(s)
• Management of code repositories, bug trackers, mailing lists, open-source community tools (SciPy.org, code.enthought.com), build and test systems, etc.
• Management of LAN, workstation and server security
• Support for 20+ developers
• Jack-of-all-trades to pitch in on telephone system, A/V systems, etc.
