The Ultimate Environment for Scientific Computing: EPD

We created the Enthought Python Distibution to provide both individual researchers and enterprise-level developers with a solid, comprehensive Python environment for scientific computing. With a single-click install, EPD subscribers have a vast array of libraries to optimize and extend their scientific applications.

Powerful Tools for Your Application: ETS

The Enthought Tool Suite is included in EPD, but is also available as a stand-alone open source product. ETS libraries enable the construction of sophisticated application frameworks for data analysis, 2D plotting and 3D visualization. These powerful, reusable components are released under liberal BSD-style licenses.

Finally, we maintain strong ties to the open source community and many of us remain active contributors to SciPy, a widely used scientific computing library for Python and NumPy, a powerful numeric package.
