Enthought Package Repository
Enthought provides and maintains a repository of Python packages, bundled as Python "eggs". Eggs are means of distributing Python packages, without a separate build or install step, and with dependencies on other packages being checked and satisfied at run-time. The Enthought Package Repository contains a wide variety of useful Python packages beyond those included in the standard Python distribution, which we have validated for compatibility.
The Enthought Package Repository is currently in beta test, and access is free for all users. After the official launch, access to the repository will continue to be free for individual and academic users. Commercial and government users will pay a nominal, per-seat annual fee, to defray the cost of running the repository.
