Steve Allen

Steve holds a Ph.D. and a M.S. in condensed matter physics as well as a B.S. in theoretical physics from Universite de Sherbrooke.

Prior to joining Enthought, Steve held a postdoctoral position in computer vision at Universite de Montreal. He also worked for 10 years as a scientific analyst for Compute Canada helping researchers of various disciplines use super computers for their research projects. During those years he developed a large amount of experience in optimizing, parallelizing, vectorizing, and accelerating algorithms.

In his free time, Steve enjoys hiking, swimming, and working on small projects.
