Takuma Wakamori

Takuma holds a M.Eng. in Computer Science and B.Eng. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Yokohama National University. He is passionate about knowledge discovery and analysis of data, and has deep knowledge of system programming, big data processing, and applied machine learning research.

Prior to joining Enthought, Takuma worked for Computer and Data Science Laboratories at NTT. There, he developed time-series anomaly detection and prediction algorithms for multivariate IoT sensor data and implemented machine learning pipelines. He also experienced in collaborative research with shipping companies and leading proof-of-concept projects in the agricultural and municipal domains.

In his free time, Takuma enjoys playing with his children, reading, tennis, snowboarding, and piano.
